what are symptoms of vision problems with type 2 diabetes?
Your vision gets blurry, or like in my case when my sugar was high, it got blurry, really bad, I thought I was going blind. When my sugar started coming down my eyesight started to improve, but got blurry again when my blood sugar got to a certain plateau (but still not where it should be) Finally, when I got my blood sugar under good control, my eyesight was normal again.
What are all the symptoms and indications during initial stages of “TYPE 2 DIABETES’. Please list it?
Type 2 Diabetes can be a silent disease, without any signs or symptoms.
Things that make you more likely to develop it are being overweight, especially around the abdomen; a history of having a large ( over 9 pounds) baby ( for women only), increased incidence with aging, and family history. Type 2 Diabetes is an epidemic in the USA, probably having to do with our diets, lifestyles, and being overweight.
You cannot rely on symptoms to make a diagnosis, especially during " initial stages". After years of diabetes, the complications such as kidney, eye, skin, can cause symptoms.
The sources mentioned by the other responders are ok, but if you suspect that you or someone you know has diabetes, you should consult your regular health care provider, and discuss it with him/her.
Type 2 Diabetes may be prevented by weight loss and lifestyle changes.
if u have type 2 diabetes and u start getting treatment for it will those symptoms go away ?

Some symptoms will go away. Others may be irreversible.
What are the symptoms of Hyperinsulinemia, or type 2 diabetes????
Well I had a baby a year ago, and my body has changed quit a bit. I found out 3 weeks ago I was hyperinsulinemia, which is the step before becoming a type 2 diabetic. I’m not sure what the symptoms are for my hyperinsulinemia or what are just changes pregnancy did to me. So if people could tell me what they know about things your body goes through through hyperinsulinemia then I could kind of sort out whats right and wrong. I have dry skin now, I have a hard time loosing weight, now energy, I have really dry skin on my feet. Maybe that’s me maybe it’s not. I just need 2 know as much as possible please. And no one has 2 tell me how to get rid of hyperinsulinemia because I know enough about that now. THankyou
Hyperinsulinemia is too much insulin, and usually related to insulin resistance. Your body isn’t using the insulin the way it is suppose to, so your pancreas pumps out more insulin to handle the blood sugar in your system. This could be one of the first steps toward becoming type 2 diabetic in the future, but not everyone with Hyperinsulinemia will become diabetic. The more changes you make now, the less likely you will become diabetic. Exercise increases insulin sensitivity, which means less insulin is needed to handle the blood sugar in your blood stream. When your body needs less insulin to handle the blood sugar, then your pancreas will not produce as much insulin, so that your insulin levels will return closer to normal. BTW, there are no symptoms for Hyperinsulinemia, and usually can only be detected with a specific blood test.
what is type 1 diabetic and type 2 diabetic and what are the symptoms?
Diabetes as a whole is associated with disordered metabolism, and namely the insufficient quantity or inadequate quality of insulin in the body. Insulin is the hormone which keeps the blood glucose within normal levels.
The food we take, is ultimately turned into glucose which through the blood circulation is supposed to "feed" the body cells. The glucose is not supposed to stay in the blood but get into our system so that we can live. It’s what gives us energy. And this happens with the help of the hormone insulin.
In type one (insulin-dependent), the insulin-producing cells in the pancreas are being destroyed and start dying out, which makes it necessary that the insulin is provided from outside, that is through injections.
In type two, the insulin produced is either not enough or of low quality and therefore unable to deal with the high glucose levels.
Both conditions result in the same thing – the intake of glucose doesn’t get to its destination. Therefore you eat a lot, but lose weight (for type one, for type two, it’s the opposite, you start adding weight)You drink a lot of water , cos glucose makes you feel thirsty. You start urinating frequently and in big quantities, cos your kidneys are being stimulated to work faster.
The diagnoses is very easy and quick because the symptoms are very typical. Mind you, the combination of those, not just one of them.
I remember when I told my doctor my son was going to the bathroom too much, he immediately thought of diabetes and checked his blood sugar right there.
It is not as bad as it seems. I mean it’s a serious desease, and life-threatening if not taken care of, but the measures to be taken are pretty simple and kind of natural, forcing you to lead a healthy lifestyle , which in fact everyone should , without having diabetes.
How is it possible for me to test positive to Herpes Type 2 and my partner to test negative?
The other day I went to the doctore, because I thought I had a rash, but it had came out to be Herpes Type2. Which was devastating. I never seen any other type of symptoms or never had a breakout. Well I told my partner of a year and a half. He went to the doctor and was tested negative for the antibodies, which I think is suppose to show up in your system forever whether you have a outbreak or not. He was also tested negative for Type 2! We have unprotected sex and oral. So how is it possible for me to be positive and him not? Oh, I also seen his test, so he wasn’t lying about it. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME WITH SOME TYPE OF INFO. THANKS!
It is my understanding that they can only test for the Herpes virus while there is an active outbreak… like you had at the time of diagnosis. Your boyfriend didn’t have an outbreak when he was tested…. so it may not be an accurate result.
If for any reason you two split-up… he needs to assume he may be carrying the virus still.
Become educated about Herpes… it is a very manageable disease, and the more you know the better off you are!

What are the symptoms and signs are diabetes type 1 and type 2?
my blood sugar was 49 like 2 days ago and they gave me some sugar and 5 or 10 minutes later… it was 212! Is that normal?
Diabetes type 1 – tends to show by weight loss, needing to pee a lot, and being very thirsty. Treated with insulin.
type 2 – tends to be more overweight people, you can have this for a long time without being aware of it. Treated with diet control, tablets or insulin.
Type 2 is sometimes said to be "milder", but this is not correct, both types must be taken seriously.
weird neurological symptoms with type 2 diabetes anyone??
if you have any what those symptoms are thank you
I don’t know what you mean by weird. There are some that are common and some that are less common.
Elevated blood sugars cause nerve damage or what is called Periphial Neuropathy.
Any nerves in or on the body can become damaged due to these high blood sugars.
The most common form of neuropathy is nerve damage to the hands and feet and the first symptom of this is the loss of hair on the toes and fingers.
Symptoms of type 2 diabetes?
I was resarching about T2D and it said that early symptoms are being thirsty all the time wich means drinking lots of water and drinking lots of water leads to always urinating. I always have to have water. I urinate more than twelve times a day. Without sugar I feel weak and tired. I want to go to the doctors and test for it but my mom says its nothing and everything is normal.

Do You Have Diabetes?
Millions of people have Diabetes Mellitus, commonly called diabetes. You may be surprised to know that many of these people don’t even know they have it.
Diabetes is a serious disease and should not be ignored. If you have it, correct treatment can help you live a long and healthy life.
What Is Diabetes?
If you have diabetes, your body can’t make or use insulin. Insulin helps change sugar into energy to keep you alive.
There are different kinds of diabetes. The main ones are type 1 and type 2.
Type 1 Diabetes
This type of diabetes is mostly found in children and young adults. If you have type 1 diabetes, your body does not make insulin and you must inject insulin daily.
You May:
urinate often
be very thirsty
be very hungry
lose a lot of weight
be very tired
be irritable
have blurred vision
have trouble seeing.
Type 2 Diabetes
Most people with diabetes have this form of the disease. Type 2 is usually found in people over 45, who have diabetes in their family, who are overweight, who don’t exercise, and who have cholesterol problems. It is also common in certain racial and ethnic groups (blacks, American Indians, and Hispanics) and in women who had diabetes when they were pregnant. If you have type 2 diabetes, your body cannot make enough insulin or correctly use it. Treatment is diabetes pills and sometimes insulin injections, as well as diet and exercise.
You May Have:
any of the symptoms of type 1 diabetes
a lot of infections
cuts or bruises that heal slowly
tingling or numbness in the hands or feet
skin, gum, or bladder infections that keep coming back.
Controlling Diabetes
Daily monitoring and careful control of blood sugar levels are the most important steps to take for people with diabetes. If not treated, diabetes can cause:
High blood sugar (which could make you thirsty, tired, lose weight, urinate often, or give you infections that won’t go away)
Many serious health problems (which could hurt your eyes, kidneys, nerves, or heart).
Warning: Low Blood Sugar
People with diabetes may develop low blood sugar because their blood has too much insulin or other blood sugar-lowering medication or from not eating enough food. It is important to follow the eating and medication schedule your doctor has prescribed to avoid low blood sugar.
Low blood sugar could make you shaky, dizzy, sweaty, hungry, have a headache, have pale skin color, have sudden mood or behavior changes, have clumsy or jerky movements, have difficulty paying attention, feel confused, or have tingling sensations around the mouth.
Taking Care of Your Diabetes
The best way to take care of your diabetes is to make sure the levels or amount of sugar in your blood are near the normal range. This will make you feel better and help you stay healthy.
Your doctor will tell you how often to check your blood sugar level. To do this, you will need to take a drop of your blood and place it on a special test strip. Then a device, called a blood glucose meter, reads the strip. This device measures the amount of sugar in your blood.
Writing down this level, along with the time and date, will help you see how well your treatment plan is working.
Remember:
A person’s blood sugar level rises after eating any meal that contains carbohydrates or protein. Table sugar (also called ?sucrose) counts as a carbohydrate. Artificial sweeteners, such as saccharin, aspartame (NutraSweet), and sucralose (Splenda), do not count as carbohydrates or fats. They make food taste sweet. But they do not raise blood sugar levels and have little or no calories.
What Else Can You Do?
Eat well-balanced meals. The right amount of healthy food will keep your weight under control and help manage your diabetes.
Your body needs food from the four main food groups every day:
Fruits and vegetables (oranges, apples, bananas, carrots, and spinach)
Whole grains, cereals, and bread (wheat, rice, oats, bran, and barley)
Dairy products (milk, cheese, and yogurt)
Meats, fish, poultry, eggs, dried beans, and nuts.
Remember:
Too much fat and cholesterol in your diet can be very harmful to people with diabetes. Food that is high in fat includes red meat, dairy products (whole milk, cream, cheese, and ice cream), egg yolks, butter, salad dressings, vegetable oils, and many desserts.
Can You Do Anything Else?
Exercise is important for good diabetes control. It usually lowers blood sugar and may help insulin work better. Exercise and a healthy diet can also help you take off extra pounds if you are overweight.
Warning:
Check with your doctor before starting any exercise program. You may need a snack before or during the activity to avoid having low blood sugar while you exercise.
what are the symptoms for type 2 diabetes?
The basic symptoms for daiabetes (Type 1 or 2) include
Being thirsty a lot
Frequent urination
being hungry a lot
Fatigue, or a feeling of being "run down" and tired
feeling only about half alive and not knowing why
Rapid breathing
Blurred vision
Dry, itchy skin
Headache
Feeing tummy sick a lot
Tingling or burning pain in the feet, legs, hands, or other parts of the body
High blood pressure
Mood swings, Irritability, depression, feeling blue for no know reason
Frequent or recurring infections, such as urinary tract infections, yeast infections, and skin infections
Slow healing of cuts and bruises
dizziness
Just plain feeling rotten with no known reason why
The test is pretty simple so if you have 2 or 3 or more of these symptoms please see your doctor or health dept. If you have a lot of these symptoms something is very wrong and it is important to find out what.
Many ppl who are diagnosed with ntype 2 diabetes don’t even need medicine they just change their eating habits and exercize more. Even if the person needs meds for their blood sugar to stay normal they can feel better very soon and can prevent a lot of really bad complications by finding out the problem and doing what they need to do to overcome it.
