The key is getting blood sugar levels down. Are you home-testing his blood sugar levels? If not, please consider it.

I practice “tight regulation” so I use only wet food (canned or raw) and get BGs to as close to normal as I can with insulin. Neuropathy seems to be caused by a water-soluble vitamin deficiency due to the high blood sugar levels. As you can see, it *is* reversable, but blood sugar levels need to improve for that to take place.
