Hey,

They can include: blurred vision, seeing black spots, not being able to see for short period or long periods of time and much more.

Also i want you to try a test for me, sit down it a chair not doing anything for 10-15 minutes. Then get up really quickly, if you feel pain, can't see properly or get blurred let me know and not to mention let your doctor know straight away.

Out of curiosity are you having vision problems or just curious?

Please let me know.

Good Luck
References :
Your vision gets blurry, or like in my case when my sugar was high, it got blurry, really bad, I thought I was going blind. When my sugar started coming down my eyesight started to improve, but got blurry again when my blood sugar got to a certain plateau (but still not where it should be) Finally, when I got my blood sugar under good control, my eyesight was normal again.
References :
diabetic 15 years

jill k !
The earliest visible abnormalities are pinhead red dots next to the blood vessels that may come and go—these are called microaneurysms or dot hemorrhages. Further injury then causes leakage of blood and ?uid into the surrounding areas. The hemorrhages have a characteristic appearance—they are known as blot and ?ame hemorrhages. The ?uid leakage causes yellow deposits called hard exudates. These changes in the back of the eye (also called background retinopathy) do not cause any problems with the vision and the patient is unaware of them. They are, however, of concern because if action is not taken to improve the glucose control and lower the blood pressure, they may progress to more serious injury and vision loss

You can start building up calcium behind the retina. My husband was very close to losing his eyesight. He had to have a laser surgery to have it removed, and now he sees his eye specialist twice a year. Be very cautious, pay attention to your eyesight! Go for your regular checkups. Good luck...
References :
Diabetic Husband
